Whispers of Her Worth is out in the world now, finding its readers, making its way into conversations and quiet corners. And while that brings a sense of pride and relief, it also leaves me standing at the edge of something new.

✍️ The Start of Something Different

I’ve always believed stories are living things — they grow, change, and sometimes arrive before we’re ready for them. Usually, by the time I sit down to write, I already have an idea that’s been tugging at my imagination for months. But this time feels different.

Instead of beginning behind closed doors, I’m choosing to open them — to let you see the process as it unfolds. Starting in January, I’ll be sharing my creative journey as I work on a brand-new story.

From the first spark of inspiration to the historical details that capture my curiosity, from the days when the words flow easily to the days when they refuse to come — you’ll have a front row seat to it all.

I’ve never charted a story’s progression publicly, or otherwise, before, and that’s both exhilarating and terrifying. Writing is messy, emotional, and deeply personal — but it’s also where connection begins.

And maybe, by sharing that process, I’ll rediscover parts of storytelling that even I’ve forgotten.

🌸 Why I’m Choosing to Share the Journey

Writers often talk about inspiration as if it’s magic — something fleeting and mysterious. But I’ve always believed that it’s also ordinary and human. It comes from a single line in a newspaper, a photograph, a forgotten place, a woman history forgot to remember.

Those are the moments that lead to the stories you eventually hold in your hands.

By documenting this next creative journey, I’m hoping to capture those in-between moments — the ones that usually disappear into memory once the book is finished. The quiet persistence. The frustration. The small triumphs that remind me why I write in the first place.

This isn’t a polished process. It’s an unfolding one — and that’s what makes it worth sharing.
